President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent the names of 32 ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmation,
In two separate letters to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, President Tinubu asked the Senate to consider and confirm expeditiously 15 nominees as career ambassadors and 17 nominees as non-career ambassadors.
Here are the 17 non-career ambassadorial nominees
1- Barrister Ogbonnaya Kalu – Abia
2- Reno Omokri – Delta
3- Prof. Mahmud Yakubu – (former INEC Chairman)
4- Erelu Angela Adebayo – Ekiti (former First Lady)
5,- Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi – Enugu (former Governor)
6- Tasiu Musa Maigari – Katsina (former Speaker, Katsina House of Assembly)
7- Yakubu N. Gambo – Plateau (former Commissioner & ex-Deputy Exec. Sec. UBEC)
8- Prof. Nora Ladi Daduut – Plateau (former Senator)
9- Otunba Femi Pedro – Lagos (former Deputy Governor)
10' Chief Femi Fani-Kayode – Osun (former Aviation Minister)
11- Barrister Nkechi Linda Ufochukwu – Anambra
12' Fatima Florence Ajimobi – Oyo (former First Lady)
13- Lola Akande – Lagos (former Commissioner)
