Have more Insight on Adebayo Tiamiyu called OTASNEH

Introduction: I'm Adebayo Tiamiyu popularly called Otasneh or Omo Iya  Jokoto

Q1: What make you pursue career in Radio Presenting?

It's a Big Question, i graduated as a Mechanical Engineering Student in 2010 and Nigeria happen to me that i didn't secure a job, but to the Glory of God  i can chant even from my secondary school days, so of my sister said to me that she can help me in talking to a presenter that help her promote her market, so she go ahead to speak with him about getting me any job but the man asked of me and i went and the man picked where am best in doing, that's chanting and i started training under him, His my Boss and his name is Mr. Quadri Hamzat and i bless God for the opportunity today.

Q2: How do you play being authentic and maintain people opinion at the same time?

Actually, it's not easy because what you are saying you have to be potraying it so it's isn't easy and that makes most of the presenter to live a fake life but me i don't do that but i tried my best with the training i had.

Q3: Can you tell me one of the challenging days you have experience in this discipline?

Ahh i have many ooo, but has you said one let me tell you one, there was a day i trek from Moniya to Iyana-Church. Then my Boss was working at Amuludun FM 99.1 so that day our journey doesn't move together so when will finish program i have to trek to iyana church because i didn't have a dime in hand and am going to Olodo but when i get to Iyana-church i fainted, so people doesn't move close to me but a woman who happened to be my mum friend move towards me and people joined then later wake me, so when i wake the woman gave me burns that she's selling and later give me money too, also many places they've send us out from their studio but i thank God of where we are and i pray to move forward.

Q4: What's the most rewarding part of your presenting life?

I have many but there are some that i really enjoyed  because whenever i get to somewhere they respect me and they believe am one of their celebrity, also i have many award i have receive but let me tell people that nominate, please don't nominate me if people will pay to vote, even if people we use data its money but it's manageable but the one i really want to say is the one that i collect here in Solution FM, staff members vote for me as Best Staff of the year and after receiving the award out Chairman  gave me 200 Dollars and its so amazing first award that comes with money.

Q5: What Misconception thing do you think publics has against OAPS?

Let me firstly talk about people that think we cook stories as news, its a lie DSS,SSS.Police monitors us so if you don't want to eat free beans you don't do that, if you think we live fake life, it's true and it's all celebrities and it's fans that caused it because you think we are rich as Salary Earner but not and am using this medium to tell Government Parastatals that they should look by sending all their palliative to Radio Stations or Presenter, they are closer to publics by helping you reaching them out, also Influential People think of helping us, so we too can Bless live.

Q6: What Conception do you have for Traditional Broadcasting and Social Media and Podcast Broadcasting?

It's really helping and it has caused so many damages most especially Bloggers that just wake up one day and publicize anyhow, that's why they sue them for defamation, 100billion or going to jail because they didn't know the ethics of the game, so they should do more investigation but it's really helping people that are not opportuned to work in a radio/tv station.

Q7: But you said you study Mechanical Engineering, how do you know the ethics of this job?

Well it's a Big question, i have already learnt that from my Boss Mr. Quadri Hamzat and am imploring even Mass Communication student to learn from a Boss apart from school and also i have many online course and even i thank God i have went for Radio Nigeria Academy School that many are even struggling to go and also i went back to school for that.

Q8: How do you handle Criticism both On air and Off air?

Criticism is good for us and will make us grow but let it be constructive and not destructive each day though as i was doing this interview some may be looking at my dress instead of focusing on the message, so it's something normal but hard sometimes its destructive because comment can kill person oo

Q9: Do you wish to own a Radio Station or manage anybody in the future?

Actually, if God said yes but i didn't have it in plan because it's not easy even if those CEO'S owe us help us greet them because advert at times doesn't buy our Diesel talkless of paying salary that's why you have to get other business apart from owning a Radio Station because it's just a charity but if i have money i have some other things to do that is related to this b roadcasting stuff.

Q10: But you said money is not in Radio Business and people keep estabhlishing it?

It is because they trust OAP'S and OAPS that help them to set it up want to see a little change won't tell them the truth that it's just a charity though some proprietor will never listen because they would believe Ayefele owns many radio station but they won't ask him which radio station is paying which one are you using your money to run so Radio Station is not easy.

Q11: Has a Radio Presenter do you have to promote your organization to make money or they sort that themselve?

Yes it's true because Presenters are people know, so you have to work closely with your marketers to make things work

Q12: What advice can you give to upcomings?

Be patient because it's not easy ask people like Gboyega Lawal, Kola Olotu, Imoyosola Adetoro they will tell you how they went through so be mindful after the name comes so you won't be duping people so please be patient and prayerful.
